MGR: National Account Manager (New Computing) Walmart/Sam’s Club Bentonville, Arkansas

BRIEF JOB DESCRIPTION

The Senior National Account Manager serves as the Samsung contact for Mobile Computing (Tablets, PC & Chromebooks) within Walmart & Sam’s Club. This individual is responsible for achieving annual sales and commercial spend targets through the sales of Samsung products and programs to assigned customers. He/she is involved in the activation of category roadmaps to achieve the pricing, promotion, shelving, and assortment objectives across Walmart stores, Walmart.com, in Sam’s Clubs and samsclub.com. The Senior National Account Manager reports to the Sales Director.

1. Develops and ensures alignment for annual business planning internally and with customer
2. Is responsible for new item sell-in and throughout product life cycle (item setup, in-store placement, sell-thru, forecasting, in-stock, pricing, EOL)
3. Bachelor’s degree  with 12+ years’ experience in business, marketing, sales, or related field
4. 5+ years of experience selling to Walmart/ Sam’s Club or another national electronics retailer
5. 10+ years of experience with large national retail accounts or in progressive channel account sales roles
6. Develop and maintain excellent working relationships with all assigned levels within and outside the company.
7. Plan, organize, and prioritize multiple assignments and projects.
8. Performs work under time schedules and stresses which are normally periodic or cyclical, including time sensitive job stress, fatigue, unpaid over-time, intellectual challenge, constant technical data feedback, language barriers, and business management stress.
9. Machines, tools, equipment, and work aids representative and commonly associated with PCs, printers, and office work areas.
