Systems Engineer – Home Security (Vienna, VA)

As a Systems Engineer you will help guide the systems and networking teams to ensure our infrastructure can keep pace with our growth. You will effectively collaborate with team members, while providing the tools and resources necessary to elevate our technical landscape.

(Partial Remote) 3-MONTH CONTRACT TO HIRE

1. Develop policies and formal documentation for Frontpoint’s networks, usage, security, using Confluence and other shared knowledge tools 
2. Implement new security-oriented systems and applications to maintain compliance with PCI DSS and other standards
3. Oversee critical on premise and cloud IT infrastructure systems, including project planning, design, implementation, documentation and maintenance
4. Manage existing Windows, Azure, and Cisco environments, assisting team members with a focus on cross training and learning and development 
5. Research and evaluate emerging technologies and services and make recommendations that make sense for the business
6. 3+ years of experience, possessing a strong mastery of critical infrastructure roles including: 
   • IAM management with Microsoft Azure AD and AD DS 
   • AD hosted DNS and DHCP 
   • Windows server failover clustering 
   • Microsoft Remote Desktop Services 
   • IIS and File Services
7. Possess solid knowledge of VMware virtualization technologies 
8. Microsoft GPO, SCCM or JAMF experience strongly preferred
9. Experienced with scripting and automation (Powershell) 
10. Familiar with the fundamentals of networking (Experienced with Cisco based hardware) 
11. Experience with SIEM tools desired 
12. Experienced with managing Azure PaaS solutions and networking preferred
